The final round of the Japanese Super GT Championship took place this weekend and the #16 Mugen CRZ-GT Hybrid equipped with Zytek ERS finished in second position in the race at Motegi to clinch the 2013 Japanese Super GT GT300 Team and Driver Championships! This is the first championship win for Zytek ERS (and the first non-F1 championship won by any car utilising a battery based ERS system). Tooting my own horn, it is also the first championship win that I have played a part in! High fives all around!

Could you write up something on the modifications? Are these mods available for street-versions of the CRZ?

It's not actually a Cr-Z..

Man I was rooting for the GT300 Prius to win! Prius wins GT championship! Imagine that headline! Great to see though that this car won vs the GT3 cars that have been filling up GT300 lately.

Samios is correct, this is not a CR-Z. But nearly anything one could want can be had for the L-series engine that comes in the CR-Z.

It's a silhouette racer with a mid-mounted 3.5L V6. You could apply such modifications, but it would take a lot of work and likely cost more than the car!

Woah, what a feeling that must be! I forgot you worked at Zytek. I haven't been following the series as closely this year as I had previously, but I'm glad one of the weirder cars won GT300. Now they just need to let Mugen loose on the road car!
Congratuwelldone!
